Introduction to Fluid and Pour Painting Art – Beginner and all levels Satisfy your need for creativity with practice in acrylic pour painting techniques!  In this extremely fun class you will learn how to create your very own abstract masterpieces with acrylic pouring techniques.

Acrylic pouring is an easy to learn process using fluid medium to create paintings with rich vibrant colors in compelling organic patterns. Great for those who are new to acrylic painting as well as more experienced artist. No paintbrush required!

In this class we will be making (2) paintings on 8×10 and/or 11 x 14 canvas pouring using the dirty pour or flip-cup techniques.

It is suggested that you leave your painting’s and pick them up the next day or two. Acrylic flow art can take anywhere from 8 to 24 hours or more to hours to dry (depending on size of painting) and up to 3 weeks to cure (depends on size and thickness of paint). It is not advised to move the paintings before they are dry since they are still very fluid.

All supplies are included. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting some paint on.  Smocks will be provided but it can be a messy process.  Bring a smile and get ready to have fun!

Materials:

• Canvas or wood painting ground
• Acrylic paint
• Pouring Medium (Optional – you can thin acrylic paint with water)
• Silicone oil (Optional – using silicone will promote more cells)
• mixing cup (small dixie cups)
• Wooden popsicle sticks (used for mixing paints)
• Torch or Hot air gun (Optional – used to bring air bubbles to the surface and also promotes more cells)
• Rubber gloves (Optional)
• Paper towels
• Push pins
• Painters tape (Optional)
• Smock

This class is recommended for adults and kids 8 and up.
